Account setup for Managers

After accepting your platform invitation and finishing the initial sign-up process for TalentDesk, you will be automatically taken to your ‘Get Started’ page.

 

Get Started for Managers as Employees

Get Started for Managers as Contractors

 

As a Manager who is an Employee for your company, completing your profile is mandatory for platform access and team collaboration on TalentDesk.

 

Profile details include:

  • Profile photo

  • First name (Mandatory field)

  • Middle name

  • Last name (Mandatory field)

  • Job title

  • Date of Birth

  • Phone

  • Address (Mandatory field)

  • Attachments (if any)

  • Resume


When you have finished adding your information, click  ‘Save & continue’ in the bottom right corner. 

 

For Managers operating as a Contractors on TalentDesk, you will be prompted to complete additional steps including a company-specific onboarding form (if assigned by your company), adding tax details, and setting up and selecting a payment method.

 

 

Onboarding form
Your company may require you to complete an Onboarding form to gather necessary information for granting access to their network. Fill it out accurately and click 'Save and continue' to proceed.


Complete your profile

Adding your profile details is mandatory in order for you to collaborate on the platform and get paid. Profile details include:

  • Photo

  • First name (Mandatory field)

  • Middle name

  • Last name (Mandatory field)

  • Job title

  • Date of Birth

  • Phone

  • Address (Mandatory field)

  • Attachments (if any)

  • Resume


When finished, click  ‘Save & continue’ at the bottom of the page.


Invoicing and Tax information
Provide details to confirm if you are a legal entity or sole proprietor. Individual contributors must indicate their US taxpayer status and provide the relevant tax information, while incorporated users need to enter their company name, address, and Tax Identification Number.

 

If you are a citizen or entity registered in a country that has VAT, GST, or HST tax regulations, please enter your registered number in the designated field.


Lastly, if you have indicated that you are a US taxpayer, you will need to upload a signed copy of your current IRS taxpayer form. 

Click ‘Update’ at the bottom of the screen to proceed. If there are any errors or if you have left any fields incomplete, the system will notify you with prompts to address them.

 

Add a payment method
Before you can receive payments from your organization through TalentDesk, you must choose a preferred payment method.


Next, choose the type of account you are setting up (ACH/Direct Deposit, Wire, Swift International).

 

Enter your account details.

 

Please Note: TalentDesk cannot process payments if the account holder's name does not match the name on your profile. To ensure timely payments, confirm that these names are identical, as required by Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

 

Choose how to get paid

Select the payment account that you would like to use for receiving funds from your organization through TalentDesk. You have the flexibility to add multiple accounts and can easily update your preferences at any time within your TalentDesk profile and settings.

 

After completing all required steps, you will finish the Get Started process. If you submitted an onboarding form, your manager will review it and may request changes. Once approved, you will gain full access to the platform.
