How to locate important information stored on profiles

In the Teams section, you can explore your complete user network within TalentDesk. Utilize filters or the search bar to efficiently find individuals based on specific criteria such as location, languages, skills, groups, and availability.

Provider Profiles

Each Provider within your network has a personalized profile that houses important information that you may need to access. A Provider's profile contains details about their professional experience, onboarding information, tax details, payment methods, performance reviews, rates, current projects, important documents, and any internal notes left by your management team. Read on to learn more about what you can expect to find in each profile section. 

About

The About section contains:

  • Contact details (Name, address, phone number, and email address are required)

  • Direct links to any social profiles, websites, or portfolios (i.e. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Behance, etc)

  • Onboarding information (if applicable to your organization)*

  • The Provider's default pay rate*

  • Review averages based on a 5-star rating system*

  • Total earnings on TalentDesk

  • Resume*

  • Experience*

  • Skills & Languages*

  • Availability (updated by the user)*

  • Additional Information (in the case your company utilizes User Templates)

*indicates a field that is not mandatory.

 

Onboarding

You can monitor the Provider's onboarding progress and identify any outstanding steps in this section. Additionally, this tab allows you to check if the Provider has confirmed or signed any contracts assigned to them. Should you need to view, cancel, or add a contract, you can conveniently manage these actions from this page.

 

Tax

If you are the Organization Owner or have received specific permission to access Provider tax information as a manager, you will have the ability to view the tax details of Providers in this tab. Here, individual tax forms are securely stored and are primarily used for annual 1099 tax filings in the United States.

 

Payments

This tab displays whether the Provider has chosen a payment method to receive payments through TalentDesk from your organization. Rest assured that bank details remain confidential and inaccessible to managers. All inquiries regarding payment will be directed between the Provider and the TalentDesk support team.

Reviews

Provider reviews utilize a 5-star rating system and can be submitted by any manager. These reviews are accessible to all managers and to the Provider themselves. They reflect the quality of work performed by the Provider on projects for your organization.

 

One of the key benefits of utilizing reviews is that they allow you to effectively search and filter your database based on the average ratings, making it easier to identify top-performing Providers.

 

Rates

Proposing, negotiating, and approving pay rates is a crucial element of collaborating with contractors on TalentDesk. This section provides a comprehensive overview of all pay rates associated with a Provider's account, allowing you to create, edit, remove, and review rates as needed. Providers may have multiple pay rates linked to their profiles, reflecting different compensation structures for various work assignments (e.g., hourly, daily, per word, commission rates, etc.)

 

Please note that a Provider is unable to set a new rate on their profile and begin working on a project at that rate immediately. A manager with the necessary permissions will receive a notification to review and approve the proposed rate before it can take effect.

 

 

To create a rate on a Provider's profile select the teal, Propose rate, button in the bottom right corner of the page.

To create a new rate, complete the required fields, including Alias, Currency, Rate Quantity, Rate Unit, and include a Message that the Provider will see. You can choose to create and immediately approve the rate, as well as decide whether to notify the Provider about this new rate. The Provider can also view their list of rates directly on their profile.

 

 

Once a rate is approved and added to a Provider's profile, they can use these rates to submit their worksheets for payment processing.

Work

This tab contains a list of projects the Provider is currently working on or has contributed to. 

 

 

From this location, you can efficiently add or remove the Provider from multiple projects as needed. 

 

Documents

All contracts and agreements assigned to a Provider through TalentDesk are organized under the Documents tab. Here, you can monitor the status of each document, view the signed copy in the preview window, and easily download a copy by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the file and selecting "View."

Notes

In this section, managers can leave notes that are visible only to other members of the management team. These notes provide a private means of discussing the Provider's work style and quality without impacting the formal review process.

 

Manager Profiles

Manager's in your TalentDesk network have personalized profiles similar to your Providers; however, because your Managers are typically employees of your organization and they don't have as many onboarding requirements, their profiles are more simplified.  Read on to see what actions your can perform from a manager's profile. 

 

Manage Budget, Manage Groups, and Deactivate

Within the Team section of your sidebar menu and under the Managers tab, you will see all an organized directory of your TalentDesk Managers. When you click on the dropdown arrow on their profile tile, a short list of actions appears. This is where you can allocate individual budget, locate individual contact details, manage group memberships, and deactivate managers. 

 

 

About, Work, Rates, and Notes

Each Manager's profile on TalentDesk features sections for About, Work, Rates, and Notes. Managers have the flexibility to include varying levels of detail on their About page, which may consist of a profile photo, contact information, social media links, a resume, professional experience, skills, languages, and their availability.

 

The Tax and Rates tabs will only apply if you have Managers who are operating as contractors on TalentDesk and getting paid through the platform. 

 The Work section is a helpful location to quickly add or remove Managers from any projects in your account.

 

Finally, Notes provides an area to leave any notes about or for the Manager on their profile.
